Installation in stairs of office, belt conveyor with cross bars

We recently installed a belt conveyor in stairs of a customer’s office. This is a movie about it.

A belt conveyor to convey carton boxes is installed in stairs of the office. The belt conveyor is used to transport carton boxes between the first floor and the second floor. Carton boxes with items are moved up and down between the first floor and the second floor.
Since gradient angle of the conveyor is 35°or more, flat conveyor belt cannot be used. So that conveyor with cross bars is adapted and carton the boxes are moved up and down by catching on the cross bars. Compared with elevator type of vertical conveyance, price is a quarter or less. In case the elevator type is installed, installation work will be a large-scale since a hole need to be made on the floor of the second floor. Installation of belt conveyor doesn’t require such a large-scale construction, and it is possible for the conveyor to be installed on the stairs which already exist.
Speed of belts can be changed easily by invertor and flexible transportation in accordance with working situation is possible.
